Isn’t it just wonderful to write a novella about psychic cops? You can put anything in there you want, psychedelic stuff, sex, adventure, fun and twist it all together as one coherent story!! Victor Bayne is a policeman in a … Weiterlesen

Book review: Josh Lanyon, A Ghost of a Chance

One of those typical Josh Lanyon stories: two different men meet under odd circumstances, feel the attraction towards one another and finally end up being a couple. Nothing’s wrong with that but I start thinking that Lanyon could do more … Weiterlesen

Book review: Roux Abigail Madeleine Urban: Divide & ConquerThe two FBI-agents Ty and Zane have to work together on another case in the fourth book of this series. While the city of Baltimore is shaken by violence Ty and Zane have to work on a better PR for the police force while struggling to find a way of making their relationship work. That isn’t easy because both of them don’t really open up, Zane doesn’t even dare to say out loud that he is in love and that leads to mistrust and frustration, while at the same time the bombing attacks are getting closer. When Zane gets hurt there should be an opening for both men to get closer together but the confrontation with old friends and hidden feelings lead to a fight and even more misunderstandings. Is it really so hard, to speak up and tell the person you love, that he is the most important person in the world? Really? Like in the first three books, this keeps the story going because there is no happily-ever-after yet, but still a struggle to get being together workable. That’s the strength of the series but also its weakness because sometimes it’s just too little to keep you go on reading.
