In the second book of this series we meet Ty and Zane in a difficult moment because they both still suffer from the things they endured when hunting down a serial killer. And, of course, they still don’t know how to deal with the feeling of affection towards another man. Their chief at the FBI more or less pushes them to take some time off and that’s how they both end up in the mountains with Ty’s family planning to do a hiking trip in the mountains.
So, this time it’s not really a detective story but more of a get-to-know-more-about-the-guys story that leaves you wondering why some things are so difficult to do and say while on the other hand I really liked the way I learnt more about the two main characters while they interacted with the family members of Ty.
But still, there is some excitement to have because during the hiking trip of Zane and Ty with his father and brother they encounter some made guys who apparently try to kill them. That’ll take the reader to a dashing finale.
Ready for part 3, I’ld say.
